Day 1:
Early afternoon depart from Sofia Airport to Kazanluk. Arrive in Kazanluk at 19:00. Check in at Kazanluk 3-star or 4-star hotel. 20:00. Dinner with a folk performance. Overnight

Day 2:
08:00 Breakfast. 08.30 A participation of rose picking in a traditional village in the Kazanlak area. 11:00 Ritual rose distillation. Tasting of rose oils in the Institute of Roses. Carnival procession. The ritual includes a folk programme and the tasting of Banitsa, a Bulgarian delicacy to have with Rose Liquor and Rose Jam. 12:00 Participate in the carnival procession 13:00 Lunch: a Cheverme or Bulgarian barbeque with a folk programme. Participate in the preparation of various meals with different game. Taste fresh fruits and natural Bulgarian cheese made from goats milk. 14:00 Visit of the Kazanluk Thracian Tomb ( UNESCO list of World Heritage) III – IV c BC, a masterpiece of Thracian architecture. 15:00 Depart to Etura. Visit Etura open-air etnograpic complex. Proceed to Veliko Tarnovo. Check in to Interhotel Veliko Tarnovo 4 star hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 3:

08:00 Breakfast. Visit the Royal Tsarevets Hill with the tsar’s residence and the residence of the Bulgarian patriarch. Today can be seen the wall of the fortress, towers and gates, churches with exquisite architecture, original and realistic murals in the cherishes, colourful mosaics and handcrafted masterpieces. Lunch. Visit Arbanassi Village and Petropavlovski Monastery. Depart to Sofia. Arrive in the late evening. Check in to your hotel. Dinner. Overnight

The prices are valid for the period from 01.April 2004 until 31. October 2004.
